As part of the strategic development of its Ivorian subsidiary, the company is recruiting an experienced General Manager, entrepreneurial in spirit and highly results-driven.
General Manager – Long-Term Vehicle Leasing (M/F)
📍 Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire | Permanent Contract | Fast-growing regional group
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will be responsible for the commercial, financial, and operational strategy of the Côte d’Ivoire subsidiary. Your main responsibilities will include:
Strategic & Commercial Development
- Grow a client portfolio across high-potential sectors (Oil & Gas, Mining, Logistics)
- Strengthen the brand visibility and positioning in the Ivorian market
- Lead the sales team and boost business development momentum
- Structure the sales pipeline and internal management tools
Financial Management & Banking Relations
- Negotiate and renew credit lines with banking partners
- Build financing packages under optimal conditions
- Manage relationships with dealerships and suppliers
Operational Oversight & Compliance
- Oversee vehicle fleet management: purchasing, maintenance, resale
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
- Maintain high-quality service and strong cost control
HR Management & Internal Structuring
- Lead local teams: finance, operations, sales, support
- Recruit and structure the team according to subsidiary needs
- Ensure effective HR management: evaluations, motivation, performance
Profile Sought
- Master’s degree (or equivalent – Bac+4/5)
- Proven experience in profit center/general management
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, management control, or audit
- Commercial background with tangible results
- Significant professional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, ideally Côte d’Ivoire
- Fluent in French; English is a plus
- Leadership, autonomy, rigor, and excellent communication skills
