Software Engineer – AI & Medical Image Reconstruction (M/F)
📍 St-Genis-Pouilly | Permanent Contract | Innovative Deeptech
You will play a key role in developing next-generation software solutions for medical imaging. Your responsibilities will include:
AI Development & Simulation
- Designing Deep Learning models for image reconstruction from PET data
- Optimizing AI architectures for medical imaging applications
- Integrating AI modules into existing imaging software
- Designing physical simulations to analyze specific anatomical regions
- Ensuring software quality and compliance with ISO 13485 / MDR standards
Profile Sought
Technical skills:
- Strong command of C/C++ (Python is a plus)
- Proven experience in medical image reconstruction (PET, SPECT, CT)
- Mastery of AI frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Solid understanding of AI model architectures
- Valuable knowledge: MAP-EM, OSL, medical imaging physics
- Experience with high-performance CPU environments
Interpersonal skills:
- Autonomous, curious, rigorous, and a team player
- Comfortable communicating with international teams
Education & Languages:
- Master’s or PhD in biomedical engineering, biophysics, computer science, or equivalent
- Fluent in English – French is a plus
