As part of its growth, a strategic R&D Manager position is now open.

R&D Manager (M/F)

📍 Villeurbanne (Lyon) | Permanent contract | On-site 

You will be a cornerstone of the technical organization, ensuring both software excellence and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Technology leadership & team structuring

  • Managing an R&D team of 6 engineers + participating in future recruitments

     

  • Overseeing software development (C++, Cloud, Web, Cybersecurity)

     

  • Integrating AI / Machine Learning algorithms for 4D imaging

     

  • Implementing R&D processes in line with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards

     

 

Product vision & cross-functional coordination

  • Participating in the strategic steering committee

     

  • Acting as a direct interface with product, clinical, quality, and commercial teams

     

  • Managing technical partnerships, outsourcing, and R&D budget

     

  • Drafting R&D deliverables and funding reports

     

 

Profile sought

  • Degree from a top-tier engineering school (e.g., X, Mines, Supaéro, Centrale, etc.)

     

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software R&D within a structured environment (MedTech ideal)

     

  • Strong command of ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards

     

  • Solid software development background, with knowledge in data science or ML

     

  • Proven experience in regulatory technical documentation

     

  • Fluency in French and English required

     

  • Leadership, precision, curiosity, and a passion for innovation
