Women’s Leadership: moving beyond stereotypes to unlock all talent
Just ahead of the year-end holidays, INAUTALENT had the pleasure of taking part in an inspiring evening of discussion focused on a key challenge for today’s and tomorrow’s organizations: women’s leadership.
Held in Paris by Bpifrance Le Hub, in partnership with Women in Tech® France and PALM, this Women in Tech® Meet & Greet brought together executives, investors, and innovation leaders committed to advancing inclusion and equality across the tech, industrial, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
A clear reality: women’s talent remains underrepresented
Despite growing awareness, the data highlights the scale of the challenge:
Women represent 25% of jobs in the tech sector,
Only 20% of roles in AI,
Just 22% of leadership positions within the French Tech 120,
And one in two women leaves the sector before the age of 35.
These figures do not reflect a lack of skills or ambition, but rather structural barriers, persistent biases, and work environments that are still not inclusive enough.
Inclusive leadership: from intention to action
The evening opened with a keynote by Angela Naser, Managing Director France at Women in Tech®, followed by a panel of committed leaders who shared their journeys, convictions, and—most importantly—their concrete practices.
🎤 Speakers:
Alexandra Ruez, Vice President & Board Member – IBM
Anne Thevenet-Abitbol, VP Foresight & New Concepts – Danone
Léo Denes, President & Founder – INAUTALENT & Australiance Group
Jennifer Alidor, CEO – ClevHer AI (Moderator)
With an inspiring closing by Marie-Capucine Lemétais, Co-founder & Board Member – PALM
A strong message emerged from the discussions:
👉 inclusive leadership cannot be decreed—it is built day by day.It relies on:
fair and unbiased recruitment practices,
proactive talent development policies,
active sponsorship,
and a continuous challenge of stereotypes.
A conviction embodied by INAUTALENT and Australiance
Long committed to diversity and equality, Léo Denes, President of INAUTALENT and Founder of Australiance, shared a clear and deliberate vision of the role leaders and organizations must play:
“Being an ally does not mean speaking on behalf of women.
It means recommending, promoting, amplifying voices, and creating environments where everyone can thrive.”
At INAUTALENT and Australiance, this belief translates into concrete action:
66% of management positions held by women,
Active support for the recruitment, development, and promotion of female talent in France and internationally,
Balanced and representative panels and events, built with trusted partners such as Women in Tech® Global.
Diversity as a driver of sustainable performance
Far from being a communication topic, diversity is a strategic lever for performance, innovation, and resilience.
More balanced teams make better decisions, innovate more effectively, and create lasting impact.
As a joint venture between Australiance and Auvalie Innovation, INAUTALENT supports companies in building leadership and technical teams capable of meeting the challenges of growth, international expansion, and technological transformation—with a clear ambition: to unlock all talent, without exception.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizers and speakers
We warmly thank all the speakers for the depth and authenticity of the discussions, as well as the teams at Bpifrance Le Hub, Women in Tech® France, and PALM for organizing such an inspiring, concrete, and necessary event.
These moments of dialogue are essential to evolve practices, align convictions with action, and collectively build a more inclusive and impactful model of leadership.
